Eager to play, curious to explore and inspired to learn.

We design play spaces that connect children to Country, inspire curiosity and support learning through exploration.

We believe play spaces bring communities together, creating places to connect and belong across generations.

We need to play in nature. We need play to build strength and fitness. We need play to connect us.

Fairfield Park Playspace renews a much-loved community destination along the Birrarung (Yarra River), celebrating its connection to Country, landscape and community. The design builds on Fairfield’s established character, creating an inclusive, nature-based play destination beneath a generous tree canopy.

Key elements include interactive art, native gardens, a treetop climbing structure with slides, an accessible swing, a water play feature, and shaded seating and gathering areas. Together, these elements encourage exploration, connection and outdoor play for children of all ages and abilities, ensuring this treasured place continues to bring the community together for years to come.
